Orientique Aruba Skirt.
Now, as much as I love Orientique fabric, colours and styles, this one surprised me! It turned out to be a "SHIRRED TOP DRESS" not a skirt! When I first tried it on, thinking it as a skirt, I thought it extremely long, so decided that as I loved it so much , I would remove the shirred top and make an elastic waistband instead, hence shortening it enough so that I did not have to cut any off the skirt itself. When almost finished the process of doing so, I discovered SHOE STRING STRAPS were attached to the top of the shirring.... which is why the "SKIRT" appeared to be so long! However, I did make an elastic waistband and now have the skirt that I thought I had ordered...which was actually shown and advertised as such! I do love it as a skirt though!
