Firstly, great service from Hannas; I love shopping from them and would recommend Hannas. I rang before purchasing to discuss their Stetson range and the staff were very helpful, plus the shipping speed and packaged were excellent.

However the hat itself arrived with a very warped brim, not the fault of Hannas as the shipping box was immaculate so it clearly had not been damaged during shipping. The hat also did not come with a Stetson box which at this price point is extremely disappointing, as the much cheaper Buffalo range hats do come with boxes.

Thankfully I work for a hat maker and after about an hour of steaming and reshaping I was able to get the hat back to what it was supposed to look like. Also the Skyline, unlike many of the other Stetsons is a regular oval and not a long oval shape, so this hat in the right size still did not fit me and had I known it was a regular and not a long I would not have purchased this hat. Luckily a family member loved this hat and it fit them, so after my disappointment with the hats condition and the shape issue I was happy to give it to them.

Stetson's quality control is significantly lacking. Going forward I'll be sticking to Akubra's as their price and quality is simply far superior. The Skyline 6x is a pure fur felt hat however compared to my Akubra Rough Rider it is a noticeably lower quality fur.
