OMG, this hat is an absolute masterpiece! The craftsmanship is beautiful, the finish is excellent, and the colour is simply stunning. You really cannot appreciate how spot-on this hat is until you see it in person!
I do have one problem, though. I ordered the XL (60–61 cm) based on Akubra’s official size guide, as my usual US hat size is 7½, which corresponds to 60 cm according to the guide. However, the hat is unfortunately too loose. It rotates from side to side and sits too low on my head, so I genuinely don't understand the discrepancy.
The hat has travelled all the way from Australia to Europe, to the small island where I currently live, so returning it isn't exactly straightforward. I've emailed the retailer to see what practical solution might be possible, as everything went smoothly with the order itself and the hat is absolutely stunning.
That's my honest feedback: an exceptional hat, beautiful craftsmanship, and a sizing issue I'm hoping we can resolve.
